Awareness Campaigns


    The Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police (CACP) conducts public education through a number of public awareness campaigns to encourage and facilitate community-oriented policing, to positively influence public perception and trust in policing, and to positively influence public behaviour.

    The CACP assumes the leadership and coordination of four national public awareness campaigns:

    1. National Police Week (May)
    2. Canada Road Safety Week (May)
    3. If You See Something, Say Something.(September)
    4. Operation Impact (October)
