Law enforcement officers are increasingly responding to calls involving autistic or otherwise-neurodivergent people. Our panel of experts will discuss important background concepts you need to know, describe the common reasons officers will interact with the autism community, and explore the best practices for de-escalating common scenarios to hopefully have a positive outcome for all.
