Awareness Campaigns
The Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police (CACP) conducts public education through a number of public awareness campaigns to encourage and facilitate community-oriented policing, to positively influence public perception and trust in policing, and to positively influence public behaviour.
The CACP assumes the leadership and coordination of four national public awareness campaigns:
- National Police Week (May)
- Canada Road Safety Week (May)
- If You See Something, Say Something.(September)
- Canadian Police and Peace Officers' Memorial (September)
- Operation Impact (October)
