Update from the Electoral Commission
Please be advised that, for personal and professional reasons, Deputy Commissioner Dwayne McDonald has withdrawn his nomination for the position of President of the CACP.
As a result, the Electoral Commission will soon identify and put forward a new nominee for the position. CACP members will be given an opportunity to review the nomination and respond in accordance with the Association's electoral process.
To accommodate this process, the Annual General Meeting will take place in two stages.
Part I, on July 22nd, will proceed as planned. All agenda items will be considered; however, CACP members will vote on all Board positions except the office of President.
Following completion of the agenda, Part I of the AGM will conclude but will remain open. The meeting will not be adjourned.
Part II of the AGM will be held at a later date, to be determined, for the sole purpose of electing the President. In the meantime, Commissioner Carrique will continue to serve as President until a new incumbent has been selected.
Members are asked to monitor their email for further information regarding the nomination process and the scheduling of Part II of the AGM.
