On-site registration check-in starts Monday, May 6, 2019 at 5:00pm and ends at 7:00pm.  The conference starts on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at 8:30am and ends on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 3:00pm.

Registration Fee

$645 + HST ($728.85) payable to Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police prior to the conference by Visa, Master Card or cheque (includes all plenary sessions, two breakfasts, two lunches and three refreshment breaks). If payment is not received prior to the conference, delegates must provide a credit card number or purchase order to gain admission to the conference.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made on or before February 5, 2019 are subject to a full refund less an administration fee of $75 + tax.  Registrations cancelled between February 6, 2019 and April 6, 2019 are subject to a 50% refund.  No refunds will be given for cancellations received after April 6, 2019.  Please note: If a registration is submitted after April 6, 2019 there will be no refunds issued in the event of a cancellation.

We invite you to join us at the Ottawa L5 testing facility where you will see demonstrations including; autonomous shuttle buses, and interactions between EMS and smart city infrastructure.

The Ottawa L5 test facilities offers world-class integrated testing grounds for the safe implementation of CAVs in Ottawa's true four-season climate. The are mini “Smart Cities” equipped with GPS (RTK), dedicated short range communications (DSRC), Wi-Fi, 4G/LTE and 5G telecommunications and networking infrastructure, coupled with numerous sensors including weather, video, cameras, acoustic detection equipment and advanced analytics, making it the first integrated CAV test environment of its kind in North America. 

The Ottawa L5 private test track is an 1,866 acre, fenced and gated private facility with 16 kilometers of paved roads and a control centre housed at Bayview Yards @Greenbelt. The largest secure test facility for CAVs in Canada, the Ottawa L5 private test track creates an ideal proving grounds for the safe and productive pre-commercial development, testing, validation and demonstration of CAV technology.
