 mbassy, are hosting this timely webinar providing the Canadian policing 
 community with insight into how France facilitated the complex role of h
 osting the 2024 Paris Olympic Summer Games. With the FIFA World Cup comi
 ng to Canada in 2026, as well as other large scale, international events
 , this is an opportunity to hear the lessons learned while highlighting 
 innovative policing practices and technological advances that were used 
 for the first time in France.\n\nFrom a security perspective, the 2024 O
 lympic Games were unprecedented: full of complex geographical context, h
 igh levels of threats of different kinds, and worldwide media attention 
 with 5 billion viewers. This presentation will include:\n\n* Preparation
  and security deployment (security issues identified upstream)\n\n* Publ
 ic security, crowd management, threat assessments in and around Paris\n\
 n* Logistics and interoperability (specialized units, integrated teams, 
 foreign reinforcements)\n\n* Cyberthreats\n\n* Real time incidents, chal
