SUMMARY:A CACP National Forum: Sisters in Service
DESCRIPTION:-- --\n\nWe’re excited to invite you to Sisters in Service
(SiS) — a free, informal discussion series created by and intended for
female police leaders.\n\nThese are not typical webinars. There’s no
keynote speaker or lecture — just real, honest conversations facilitat
ed in a supportive space. Each session is an opportunity to connect with
other women in policing, share experiences, and explore leadership chal
lenges and successes together.\n\nWhether you're just stepping into a le
adership role or have years of experience, SiS offers a place to listen,
learn, and be heard.\n\nOpen exclusively to CACP Members.\n\n----------

wing Up as Yourself: Authenticity in Leadership --\n\n-- May 13, 2026 @1
 2:30 - 13:30 EST --\n\nIn professional spaces—especially those shaped
by traditional expectations of authority—it can be tempting to keep pa
rts of ourselves hidden. For women in policing and leadership, the press
ure to “fit the mold” often means downplaying personality, softening
identity, or adopting a style that doesn’t feel true. But authenticit
y matters: self-disclosure, when practiced thoughtfully, can build trust
, strengthen relationships, and model confidence for others.\n\nThis ses
sion will explore what it means to bring your whole self into profession
al contexts without apology, and how authenticity can be a source of str
ength rather than risk.\n\nThrough reflection and shared experiences, pa
rticipants will discuss:\n\n* How to share your personality in ways that
feel both professional and genuine\n\n* The confidence to lead as a wom
an—without mimicking the styles of men\n\n* The role of vulnerability
and self-disclosure in building trust and credibility\n\n* Practical str
ategies for showing up as yourself in leadership and service\n\nJoin us
for a supportive dialogue on what it means to be true to yourself in the
workplace—and how embracing authenticity can make leadership more pow
erful and sustainable.\n\nHosted by: Chief Superintendent Dana Earley,
