DESCRIPTION:This webinar will provide a detailed description of the full 
 range of criminal law measures available to law enforcement to combat ha
 tred. That description, complemented by a PowerPoint presentation and ta
 ke-away materials for participants, will lead to an analysis of specific
  case scenarios, relevant to a wide range of identifiable communities, a
 nd how law enforcement might best respond. The scenarios will include pr
 otests and demonstrations, and the intersection of criminal law and Char
 ter protections. Finally, the webinar will address contemporary antisemi
 tism and its relevance to policing. Attendees will be able to submit que
 stions or comments online throughout the presentation.\n\nThe webinar wi
 ll be conducted by Mark Sandler and Rochelle Direnfeld, both experts in 
 hate motivated crimes.\n\nOpen exclusively to CACP Members.
