ISIS Brochure 2011
The Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police is pleased to announce The Institute for Strategic International Studies (ISIS) 2011. This will be the fifth offering of this exciting and unique executive learning opportunity, which was conceived and designed to develop Canada's current and future leaders in policing and related justice agencies while enhancing the collective and individual capabilities of the organizations that comprise the Canadian criminal justice community.
ISIS is based upon an experiential, problem-based learning model that combines classroom sessions and independent on-line study with international field research into a variety of operational and management aspects of policing and justice administration. ISIS 2011 builds upon the success of the 2003 CACP International Best Practices Research Project and ISIS 2006, 2008, and 2009. To date, 66 police leaders representing 19 agencies have conducted global policing research in 22 nation-states around the world.
As President of the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police I am extremely proud of this continuing initiative. I am delighted to extend to you an invitation to participate. For your convenience, a brochure including a registration form is attached.
For further information please feel free to contact Peter Cuthbert at the CACP National Office at (613) 233-1106 or visit our dedicated ISIS website at www.cacpisis.ca for more information, previous reports and other features about the program.
Yours truly,
Chief William Blair, O.O.M.
President, CACP
